Keywords Optimization Guide – Time to Revisit Your Website Onsite Optimization NOW!

Keyword optimization is big factor to improve search engine ranking as keywords are cornerstones of Search Engine Optimization. Keywords are the connectors between the traffic and the actual prospect mentioned on a website or an article as users search on by using different words and phrases and a highly optimized website will show in search results. Understanding keyword density is a step to leverage a website optimization. Matt Cutts “Google’s Web Spam Team Head” has stated that keyword density is not an issue. In the words of Matt Cutts it is like:

“The first time you mention a word, you know, ‘Hey, that’s pretty interesting. It’s about that word.’ The next time you mention that word, ‘oh, OK. It’s still about that word.’ And once you start to mention it a whole lot, it really doesn’t help that much more. There’s diminishing returns. It’s just an incremental benefit, but it’s really not that large.”

There can hardly be any doubt about the fact that using the right keywords and phrases can make the crucial difference in every endeavor. Using appropriate amount of keywords can greatly enhance the ability to connect with large numbers of people. Moderation is the key for keyword density. Not too much, not too little. More usability of keywords can backfire big-time causing the search engine to ignore the website because excess of everything is bad. Matt Cutts also added that “I’d recommend thinking more about words and variants (the “long-tail”) and thinking less about keyword density or repeating phrases”.
